This is primarily a site-based support role. Site attendance across London and the South East is expected, with some wider travel depending on project requirements.

Overview

We are a structural and civil engineering consultancy delivering inspections, investigations, technical reporting, remedial engineering input and live-site delivery support across a range of commercial, industrial, public-sector and specialist projects.

We are seeking a Site Inspection Engineer / Building Survey Support resource to join our project-based associate network and assist with live and upcoming consultancy projects on a contract/associate basis.

This role is suited to a practical, detail-focused professional who can support site inspections, condition surveys, measured information capture, photographic records, defect identification, report preparation and coordination of project documentation.

  • Photographic records and photo logs 
  • Reinforced concrete and façade-related observations 
  • Technical reporting support 
  • Site data collection and coordination on live projects

Candidate Requirements

  • Comfortable attending sites and recording information accurately 
  • Able to support engineers and project teams with clear, well-structured documentation 
  • Experience in inspections, surveys, remedial projects or live-site technical support is highly beneficial 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong attention to detail and a practical approach to site work 
  • Ability to organise notes, photographs, defect records and reporting information clearly
